Mercury Rising New Season 2019-2020

Hey Gang!

Hope everyone is enjoying the “off season” but I suspect some of you are starting to chomp at the bit – just a little bit (in fact, based on the amount of texts and emails I'm getting, I know some of you are!)

This is a bit of a pre-launch for the 2019/20 season. I want to give everyone currently on the list first shot at signing up and reserving spots for the programs.

While I'm holding the prices to last year levels and all the sessions that were there last year will remain, there are a few bits of news.

First ; I'm really pleased to announce that I've secured a few 50 meter lanes from noon-1, Mon/Wed/Fri for the purpose of helping folks who are looking for some technical work. Kylie will head up these sessions and will give you the attention you need! Everyone is welcome to come to these sessions and people can empower themselves to work on what they need to work on under the watchful eye of a great coach!

Whether you're at the “learning to swim” phase or you're an advanced swimmer who might be working on moving from a 6 beat kick to a 2 beat kick, you'll find a safe place to work on what you need to.

The other change this year is the location of the Monday/Wednesday spins.

I'm pretty excited to unveil THE SHED! I've dressed out the shop on my property to accommodate a wonderful space to work in. We'll have a proper sound system instead of a speaker on wheels! People can leave their trainers on the location (I'll bring them to Saturday spin).

The location splits the difference between the San Pen and the Cook street location. I know it won't work for everyone but for those it doesn't I'm going to be streaming the sessions live for members – so if you want to spin from home you can do that as well. Ain't that cool!!

A lot of work has gone into this and I'm confident it's going to be a BIG improvement over our previous situation. (I've got a few surprises lined up in the Ol' Shed!)

We'll remain at San Pen VIHA for Saturdays because of size but we'll always have a safety in the event we aren't able to get in there. We all continue to owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to Connie Hearty for her support over the years!

AND – stay tuned for Penticton camps! I'm looking at holding TWO camps – one in May and one in July!! I'll announce those soon!

So everyone need to go to www.triathlonvictoria.com and sign-up for the program/s of their choice. Do NOT assume that because you were signed up for swimming last season that you're signed up again! YOU ARE NOT! Secure your swim/spin/run spots!

If you're signed up for private coaching, there's no need to do this.

Stay tuned for more exciting announcements that are in the works!!

This is going to be a great year!
